For some reason, it seems fitting that my first post on my new blog is a review of the oldest Utaban episode on my PC.
It’s hard to believe that H!P has grown from an 18nin lineup to a 74nin lineup in just 8 years. Another thing to note: Nakazawa is sitting right next to Ishibashi.
Ishibashi then notes that the set looks like a scene from the bible.
Next, the groups are introduced. As expected, Ishibashi makes a beeline to his favorite member, Gocchin.
And pushes Nakazawa away. And not much changes with Kiiro 5.
He shakes Nacchi’s hand…
And pushes Yasuda away.
Not much changes with Aoiro 7, he goes to Sayaka, and Atsuko is about to try her luck, but…
Ishibashi spots Kominato Miwa, and accuses her of quitting.
Next, is the introduction of the first-timers. They way they misspell Danielle’s name is kind of hillarious.
Next, we have Heike Michiyo and Ayaka.
And Ishibashi wastes no time joking with the “new” members.
Next, Ishibashi pieces together that Danielle and Ayaka are in the same group, and asks which island is she from. Upon finding out that she is from Oahu, he claims that he saw her there. Everyone thinks that this is a joke until…
Next, is the other two Coconuts Musume members:
Mika’s intro is pretty uneventful, but Lehua on the other hand…
Jumps out of her chair and shouts “LEHUA SANDBO DESU!”
Ishibashi then asks what was her first name, and after she repeats it, he pretends to misunderstand it, and says wacky things such as “sight-see?”, “five days” and “hilton hotel.”
Nakai then asks her to say something in english, and attempts to answer it, but fails miserably.
This is followed by an Ishibashi Takaaki signature line.
He then mentions that he can’t look at Aoiro 7 because:
1) “They’ve got a girl who’s been fired…”
2) “They’ve got Johnson.”
And then he compares Aoiro 7 to a clearance sale
And Yuko compares her group to grand opening items.
But the perverted mind of Ishibashi Takaaki twists Yuko’s sentence into something of a completely different meaning.
Nakai then announces a competition to find out who the “Strongest Idol Group” is.
But first, before the commercial, there is one last note at Yuko’s expense.
Part 2 is coming soon.

Hehe, very good, I love old days Hello! Project.
